About This Project

This project consists of five single bedroom townhouses, arranged over two levels. The design references industrial prototypes and origami processes resulting in a sculpted, folding steel element which threads across the facade uniting the individual dwellings. Door colours and highlight windows are slightly different for each, ensuring that the townhouses retain a sense of individual identity. The units are compact but with a high level of amenity. North facing decks are cut into the first floor building form to provide privacy and allow ample natural lighting to penetrate into the living space.
