About This Project

‘Habitat’ is a series of 21 two- and three-bedroom residences, nestled in a rare haven between the ocean & lagoon, on the Sunshine Coast. This apartment & townhouse development presents a highly site responsive design that is sensitive to the existing coastal context. An emphasis has been placed on creating a connection with the existing lagoon & vegetation. The floor plans have been configured to encourage indoor/outdoor living, responsive of the tropical climate. Flexible internal layouts & a broad range of typologies have been designed to accommodate a permanent residence or a weekend break from the city. The use of natural light, soft tones, and a clean aesthetic, evokes the simplicity of the beach and surrounding environment.
