He enjoys working closely with clients to build mutual respect and achieve optimal outcomes for their projects, ensuring a strong repeat client base.

Alongside his love of architecture, Chris (or perhaps his alter-ego Billy) keeps himself energised through some high adrenalin activities on land and sea.

    Megan Harrison

    Practice Manager/Architect

Megan is a senior architect with over fifteen years’ experience. She is passionate about the built environment, especially as a vehicle to enhance daily life. Her portfolio of work encompasses an array of public and private projects, ranging from intimate residential designs to schools, community projects and religious buildings. Using her excellent communication skills she has worked closely with various community groups in the procurement of their projects. Similarly these skills are integral to her role in the shared management of Idle Architecture, where she works closely with Chris Idle to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.

    Evan Cooper

    Associate Director

Hailing from the northern NSW coast, Evan arrived in Melbourne as a young architectural graduate keen to learn his craft in this vibrant city. He joined Idle Architecture Studio in its early days and has played a pivotal role ever since- initially on smaller, residential projects where he consolidated his experience of detail resolution and project delivery and now, as he heads up major commercial and multi-residential projects. Evan’s ability to build trusting, robust relationships with clients and builders alike, is trademark of the way we operate and enables him to guide projects from inception to completion, striking the balance between financial, regulatory and design considerations to achieve seamless outcomes.

    Anthony Pintaudi

    Associate Director

With over 20 years of national experience across the commercial & multi-residential sectors, Anthony has delivered numerous large-scale projects of exceptional quality. His calm, strategic approach to problem solving, design and delivery enables him to unlock each project’s full potential. Combining an intrinsic design sensitivity with his in-depth technical understanding of how buildings go together, Anthony enjoys helping clients navigate the long and complex road to project realisation – nothing surprises him. There is not a delivery method he hasn’t been involved with, from the traditional client-architect-builder role to the fast-track, novated models. He welcomes opportunities for innovation and has been pivotal in advancing our expertise in modular/prefabrication techniques.

    Adrian Truan

    Senior Project Leader

Adrian joined Idle Architecture soon after arriving from the UK in 2015, bringing with him years of British educational and community experience acquired during his time with the award-winning practice, van Heyningen & Hayward. With a truly observant eye, his extensive travels have built a strong appreciation of composition, materiality and construction detailing. As project leader Adrian is efficient, clear & ever reliable, ensuring that deliverables are met as promised. He is a strong communicator who enjoys the challenge of working problems through until satisfied with the result. His broad pedagogical knowledge is ever valuable in the running of several local university projects from feasibility through to completion on site.

    Thomas Kinloch

    Head Documenter

Commencing as a model maker at Gregory Burgess Architects, Tom developed extraordinary skills in understanding complex geometries and resolving how buildings are put together. Since joining Idle Architecture 10 years ago, these problem-solving skills and his meticulous attention to detail have transferred to the digital realm where he is now our CAD Manager, coordinating systems, modelling, documentation standards and general file management. With years of experience in diverse building typologies, he possesses an in-depth understanding of construction detailing and is our key delivery person. There is hardly a project that Tom has not contributed to as he ensures that office standards and quality assurance policies are consistently applied.
