Situated on the 3rd level of a new commercial building, this approximately 330m2 office fitout was designed for a growing Landscape Architecture practice. The clients sought an open plan workplace that would foster communal discussion and discourse, while also providing areas of privacy that could be adaptable as needed.
A feature steel and spotted gum clad reception desk, and open entry space with adjacent meeting and boardrooms, allow visual connection through to the main office space via a vertical plywood batten screen. The office layout was carefully planned to accommodate a minimum of 14 workstations, with the flexibility to support future growth. Additionally, a dedicated breakout area and kitchen zone were incorporated into the design to enhance functionality.
Key material aspects incorporated into the design included neutral colour tones, timber and plywood finishes, polished concrete, and black aluminium detailing.
