This bespoke building serves as a central hub for allied medical practitioners, providing 6 consulting suites for specialist health services. The design brief aimed to create a welcoming and comfortable environment, departing from the institutional atmosphere typically associated with healthcare facilities.
Taking its location on a residential street into consideration, the building’s design prioritised a sensitive and harmonious integration with the neighboring heritage dwelling and suburban surroundings. The incorporation of a gable roof form pays homage to the prevalent local architecture, adding a touch of familiarity to the building’s aesthetic.
To ensure accessibility and a smooth flow, a carefully designed semi-enclosed basement car park seamlessly connects with the ground floor through a lift, lobby, and stairs. Beyond its primary function as a healthcare facility, this building serves as a warm and inviting space that fosters a sense of connection and comfort.
